PARIS
I rushed to an appointment to the Odeon and walking on the sidewalk boulevard Saint Germain I saw the sheets of paper with beautiful drawings in ink and a man with a brush . I squatted for a few seconds before you run. The images of his little men floating in my head. I visit the next day the beautiful artist's studio Tarbouriech Nadine shows me that these great works on paper and canvas square. I missed the door open workshops last year at Ivry in September. I discovered a neighborhood nice, fifteen minute walk to the library. We eat next to his studio and I told Viswanadhan Nadine and I want to buy my first piece of art of this man on Boulevard Saint Germain.
The next day I find myself twice in the neighborhood but still too eager to find the artist. But I see friends and I found this town to me in a light rain. A delightful walk along the docks late at night ... there is nobody on the pavement of the Seine ... a long conversation ... provided the moments that lodge in the head. Everything is beautiful and fragile at the same time is unforgettable. The other day when I was on the show in the FOG <
After a night cream (ie, almost white, I dream) I spend one day tired. I ratte an appointment at the swamp because I am wrong this time. I'm two hours ahead on Rue Sainte Croix de la Bretonnerie. And on the sidewalk there it is! Artist of ink and paper. I get it look instead in the 6th where I've seen. The room I had admired before is gone but there are others. Blondin is the artist name and it allows me to reproduce here a part of its design, it is the first of my collection.
J 'I took a picture with my phone as Blondin. Rush you if you feel like it because it leaves soon for the south-west where he has his workshop. He has no website yet but you find the morning on the streets of white coats. Later in the day: rue Sainte Croix de la Bretonnerie at Words to Mouth (corner of rue Vieille du Temple). In case of problems with police before he moves the church of Saint Germain. The chance is that, a mishmash that drops us where we do not even think to go there.
I did not post this blog when I have written in Paris in May but it is never too late. Mainly because the memory of a motorcycle taxi in Paris these days is still fresh as I did yesterday! Here a photo of Alain who took me to Orly airport for flight to Toulon.
NEW YORK
Yesterday one of my favorite video artist Mika Rottenberg presented his work at MoMA as part of Pop Rally. Apparently it to a show with Marilyn Minter at Galerie Laurent Godin Paris. She said that Parisians are a little weird <
Finally, Thursday, July 3 exhibit my paintings in Luminous Flux with other artists. Under Global Fusion Art there will musicians and poets too. Come take a drink.
