Trail Conditions / February 3, 2011

Samedi 5 février : La soirée aux flambeaux des Skieurs de l'Île.
Randonnée de soirée en ski de fond (4 parcours avec différents points de departure on the network) or snowshoeing (starting from the center of Our Lady of Fatima) depending on your choice
Invitation to all and the whole family to experience night skiing. The chalet Fatima Center will open at 17:30 for the occasion. The trail Katimavik area of balsam fir, will be lit by torches in a distance of 1.4km (headlight not required on this section). At the halfway point, there will be a bonfire around which you can feast, ( hot chocolate, marshmallow and caribou will be served). A 19hoo Day moves at the Pavilion Gerald Hebert (rental center) from the center of Our Lady of Fatima or we will serve a light lunch (sandwiches, salads, donuts and beverages) Animation and music enliven the evening. Since we hold a liquor license, it will be allowed to eat in, no sales.

Prepare your groups and join our guides. Departure time: Hiking 9km to 16.15 Boulevard `s Island, Pincourt, 8km hike to 16.45 Pincourt golf, hiking 4km to 17.15 L'Ecole La Perdriolle (headlamp required).

1km Walk (skis or snowshoes) from 5:45 p.m. Center Our Lady of Fatima. Headlamp not mandatory but recommended. The equipment loan skis or snowshoes departing from the center will be offered free on this occasion.
An evening not too cold under a cloudy sky with flakes is planned.

Off-piste skiing: Powder for Nordic skiers. Fields south of # 6, the wooded east of St Joseph and the Ile Perrot Golf north of Notre Dame Village offer great opportunities.
Night Skiing: New Moon. Headlamp required.
Saturday Cloudy with a few flakes (-9C,-3C) and Sunday, cloudy with a few flakes (-5C-2C).

Refuge Center Our Lady of Fatima: Open weekends from 8:30 until 4:30 p.m. ET on weekdays during the school break.
Refuge Center Pincourt Golf: Open Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 22h et sur semaine de 18h à 22h. Bon point de départ pour le ski de soirée. Anneau de glace et glissades ouvertes.

Saturday February 5th : Skieurs de l Ile special night event for the family at the Centre Notre-Dame-de-Fatima. (Cross country ski or snowshoe).

At this occasion, CNDF’s trail (7) lightened with fire lamps from 6hooPm to 7h30PM (Frontal light not required on this part), fire camp at mid-course (distance 1.4 km). Hot chocolate, marshmallow and caribou will be served. At 7hooPm, we willl move at the Pavillon Gérald Hebert (location center), we will serve coffee and light lunch. Animation on site. ( Equipment , skis or snowshoes, available free on site, (CNDF).

Prepare your group and join our guide. Departure at 4h15 from Island blvd (distance 9km), at 4h45pm from Golf Pincourt (#11) (distance 8km), 5h15 pm from La Perdriolle School (#7 junction #6) (distance 4.5 km) (frontal light required) or from 5h45pm at Centre Notre-Dame-de Fatima (frontal light not required).
