Denise Milani Air Brush

return to Paris and nothing

I'm just back to France and I have the feeling of having experienced many things in one week: a return to Besancon, the news of the first selection of Prix Medicis for Babyji , a book fair, a meeting marking and painting in Paris.

Akkitham Narayanan is an Indian friend who lives in Paris long ago. He left for Kerala for the young school of Fine Arts. Yesterday was his opening 35 rue de Lille in the gallery Normand. The tables do not stay a week then rush ahead you! I am familiar with his works in large format oils on canvas that made me see the studio. The big surprise yesterday: several paintings in small format. They are square and very beautiful. A mixture of the spirituality of the tantric art, the mystery of creation and joy harmonious. Everything is abstract but intimate in small squares. It y'en two that seem different and illuminates the painter they are the gouaches. I found a painting that is not exposed but which resembles the language of both.

Tomorrow is the opening of Sylvie . I look forward to his photos of Tokyo.

She told me about his trip there with a passion unparalleled in the spring. Writing That Summer in Paris I always thought one day I'll go to Tokyo for a short time and I'll write a novel whose first character is Roger Johnson (one of the characters in "Summer"). That in Japan a little creative work is born. So you can imagine how far I want to see her new photos. The exhibit runs Thursday in the gallery Fancy Art Paris-07th. I'm leaving Friday morning for Nancy The book on Square so I can not talk about you after seeing the show.
