Nuit Blanche in Montreal

First pay, first gift. On Saturday, our mister John offered us the restaurant. A good burger in Baton Rouge!

Then we went to Montreal for the Nuit Blanche Montreal High Lights.
An oasis of fun in our winter sometimes a bit too rigid: The Celebration of Light in Montreal!

Once again, Old Montreal and the Quays of Old Port we were impressed with an expanded lineup of free activities of the most diverse, skating to the fireworks and large outdoor shows.

The apotheosis was the "Nuit Blanche" with no less than 170 mostly free activities and presented on 3 main areas of downtown Montreal. It was all art forms, visual art and dance, as well as magnificent illuminations.

Reheat the sound of techno music (less than 11 anyway!)

Grill sausages and marshmallows

The big slide at Place Jacques Cartier

And presto! Ptite a taffy?

Sorry if some pictures are rather blurry, boyfriend but was not really on her plate. One wonders why. Is it age??

Go, kiss people!

Spanish Phrases For A Wedding

History of groomed trails for skiers

spaces that you browse and find a property owners forty.

The wooded hill in Ile Perrot, is the central wooded area network and home to virtually the entire network. It includes a great diversity of forest stands, several kinds of maple, black ash, oak and hemlock as well as a small network of peat bogs and heath pools in the sandstone of Potsdam (characteristic of uniqueness Ile Perrot). See http://www.cmm.qc.ca/fileadmin/user_upload/fichesvert/fiche_cs_boisdelacolline_ileperrot.pdf

's Woods East Point (the Samarra area trail), consists mainly of old stands, maple, ash and red oak mixed stands, with white pine and hemlock. North-east there was the sugar bush Lalonde whose sugar shack (located at the origin Perrot Boulevard near the marina) has given way to condos a few years ago.

The Wooded Island Perrot, in which we have as many trails, is located between Boulevard St-Joseph and golf Ile-Perrot.

Ferré Creek rises in the forested marsh (north of Big Timber # 5) of the hill. You cross or walk along the creek at several locations in the northwest sector of the network. Including the entry boulevard Island, along the path # 1 (intersection of # 4, The beech) and # 2 north, meadows, and you step over on the trails near the # 2 and # 3 Érablière.

Trail # 1 Robert Best has been named as an honorary club founder Skiers Island in 1979.

Meadows in the path # 2 (The Meadows), are owned Family Mongrain (the largest) and Montpetit Family (2 small).

Trail # 3 in Maple Grove, home to the candy Mongrain, in operation since 1903.

Trail # 4 The Beeches, home to the sugar shack Leduc (South) operating on an irregular basis.

North Trail # 5, Big Timber, is a significant wetland harboring rare and endangered animal species (four-toed salamander, and spotted-necked snakes and several species of frogs.

Trail # 6 Perdriolle, sits on a unique geological formation of sandstone postdam Ile Perrot. The projections of sandstone can be seen in winter near the industrial park and especially in summer. One can observe the foundation of sandstone on almost the entire trail and more particularly the approach trail # 1 and near the district of Perdriolle. The forest stands consist mainly of oak red oak and hemlock, red pine white.

Planting Spruce Trail # 7 Katimavik, planted in the 1960s, housed between 1965 and 1980 camping used among others in `occasion of Expo 1967. In 1986, the plantation became the property of the center Katimavik (A volunteer program for Canadian youth) and in 1995, ownership of the center of Our Lady of Fatima (A work providing specialized services tailored to the needs of people with communication disorders).

Trail # 8 The Samarra, mostly on the right path connecting the school at Carrefour Samare Notre Dame, along the wooded northern tip of the east.

Trail # 9 Hill, was the most rugged trail network and was dedicated to the followers of the racket after abandonment by skiers. Residential development near the trails with confined corridors too narrow and excluding from the core network, it was made difficult to maintain with motorized equipment. To the north was there an important wetlands area, now occupied by Blue Oak School and the arena. A beautiful pond and marsh, home to many bird and animal species is ente the arena and the hillside.

At the center of Trail # 10 Le Marais, is another important wetland and nearby (near the Metro). This portion of the former Lake Summit now partly drained.

Trail # 11 Du Golf is situated on the golf Pincourt, fashioned out of the material removed exchangers Morgan and Woodland Highway 20.

Trail # 12, although bearing the name of wooded Marceau named street nearby, is actually owned by Mr. Charlebois.

# 13 In the trail, you ride effectively in orchards Farm Quinn.

In a not so distant past, our paths traversed forested areas now developed into commercial or residential areas. To Ile Perrot, our paths joined Michel Martin Park (now Park Area), La Belle Province (now IGA and domain Maricourt) and covered almost the entire plateau of Potsdam Sandstone Island Perrot (now the Perdriolle neighborhood, industrial park NDIP and in the near future, the Eco-center. On the side of Pincourt, trails joined the boulevard Cardinal Léger (now Forest area) and covered almost all Hill (now Hill area of Forest Street and east). The trails also joined the golf Ile-Perrot and Notre-Dame-de-l'Île Perrot (village). These trails have been abandoned for several years.

Diversity and historic trails / Aspect of the Protection of woodlands and trails.

To answer questions and concerns addressed to me year after year on the protection of woodlands and trails, take note:

Unless included in a specific area of an urban park, provincial park or nature reserve, no wooded trail is specifically protected. Agricultural areas (green areas), wetlands and recreational areas (golf, cycling) provide some protection by cons.

Unfortunately, like all woods in the metropolitan area, woodlands of Ile Perrot, including those on the hill do not have these statutes and may be dedicated to urban developments. What you have witnessed in recent years. Some plans development previously defined are considered forested, others not, with consequences that we know (losing heritage enclave, cut off lanes, excessive blasting, excessive development in areas that appeared green or vocation acquired , etc.). Although there are patterns of intervention and protection at the metropolitan level, the dream and the reality is quite different. Unfortunately, large areas previously designated to protect, will disappear forever.

way to ensure the sustainability of these areas for future generations, you must be interested in plans. Address your concerns to your elected officials.

Cats Ottawa - The big day

And voila! The big day has arrived. Yesterday morning we went to Ottawa to see my gift Nowell, remember, there ?

A journey of 2 hours, under mid snowstorm in mid spring sunshine, and we arrived at half past twelve at the National Center Arts. Boyfriend being a belly (provided he does not read this post, provided it does not read this post, provided it does not read this post), it was necessary to find food when we arrived. For this, we discovered with surprise and enthusiasm to go near the food (Byward Market), he had to cross the Rideau Canal. And here is what appeared before our eyes tousled:

In winter, a major attraction in Ottawa is probably the Rideau Canal Skateway, the world's largest skating rink, in the heart of City of Ottawa on the Rideau Canal, Heritage Site UNESCO .

a length of 7.8 kilometers, the ice begins just steps from the Canadian Parliament buildings and extends to Dows Lake where there is an outdoor art gallery on ice. Along the way, skaters can warm up with resting in front of a fire, and enjoy a hot drink and a snack.

We immortalized with Mr. Oscar Peterson ,

We met families

of Mormon,

And we even witnessed a marriage at kilometer 0 of the rink, application accepted and warmly applauded by all present skaters around

And for us, demand is relatively distant we merely ask to km 0

We left the Rideau Canal by the original staircase recycled tires and braided

before finally crossing the Centre's doors

To arrive in the majestic hall

And there there there

is a Cherrybee dazzled who returned late in the evening with her boyfriend of love, after some recent photos in the blazing sun in a sky of azure blue finally returned.

Go, kiss people!

Swot Analysis For Beauty Salon

Weekend friendship

was expected that one! Day with a large J where it was to receive friends met at the meeting of December immigrants in France. Franck and Nathalie arrived as scheduled Saturday morning to begin a marathon tour of Montreal and south shore.
Program:

Old Port and its skaters

Bonsecours Market, rue Saint-Paul,

Place Jacques Cartier,

Notre-Dame,

with a splendid organ concert by Philippe Bélanger. It is my opinion and I share it. (Boyfriend does not understand, he said that Mr. Belanger was playing all the songs together at the same time. I maintain I was very nice).

As they seemed to love the houses in Westmount,

we continued the tour of the Grand Dukes taking them in Carignan hares on the island, then circling the Chambly Basin. (No, Jen and Dam, it is not gone to feed the squirrels at Fort Chambly, pass the closed gate and make their way in 80 cm not cleared of snow, was waived). We ended the madhouse Quarter Dix30 to return to our modest little house party with Jerome and Aurora, who have joined us.
Superb weekend of friendship, laughter, secrets. They left for another long week in Quebec, where they will meet many other blogonautes. But that, they tell you themselves. Deeply
you return, but definitely this time!

Go, kiss people!
